Happy Christmas, or more appropriately have a good up and coming New Year! Mau5trap had a christmas present lined up for you...Feed Me's Big Adventure.
Feed Me (aka Spor, Jon Gooch) previously released The Spell / Raw Chicken on mau5trap. Can't stop listening to this album / EP. Will be released everywhere other than beatport around January 25th 2011.
Also, if you need a free taster of Feed Me, he recently released the track "Jodie" for free. Deadmau5 has also shown support for this song.
To get things started we want to apologize for the lack up updates recently, December is a busy time for us all.. the winter season is now here and it time for us all to take a nice holiday break.

On a Deadmau5 related note; Deadmau5 has performed several gigs in the UK recently for his holiday tour, recently arriving home. He has featured several new songs, visuals, and a new touch screen display for the tour. Very excited to be following him for the next series of shows he does, as well as a gig for new years eve!
He recently released a nice new song to share for us all as a holiday gift titled; "Limit Break"

Deadmau5 likes Minecraft. He's done a few pieces for it - and also a few other tracks too. They mostly come from Soundcloud. Now I've finally found out how to embed these players...

Recently just posted on his own Facebook by him (and in our own shout box for a little while), almost 300 members have registered already. This is the biggest unofficial deadmau5 forum and also the unofficial forum for Mau5 It Up, so check it out and join guys! :)
In the run up to the release of 4x4=12, Some Chords is the 2nd single to be released on the weekly basis. This is a re release as Some Chords was first released back in May. Next week is Right This Second (Moonlight Sonata Esque / Atrium) to be released by the same retailers as Some Chords and SOFI Needs a Ladder.
SOFI Needs a Ladder is long overdue, a great electro house song, you'll love it.
If you can't be bothered right now though, it's also coming on the new compilation album / EP 4x4=12. Which brings me to some news about it...

Skrillex's new EP Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites is also out, everywhere, especially at Beatport as at the time of writing the whole top 10 is plastered with Skrillex..
First remix he played at the VMAs, now extended. No idea how this song came to be in the interwebs, but all I know is the compilation of his performance at the VMA can now only be found on vimeo or in the news section on www.deadmau5.com.

Skrillex is currently touring with Deadmau5 on his USA tour. He's a dubstep / electro house artist, however a lot of his music just goes in its own genre...and it's becoming quite popular.
Hello all! The submission date for the SOFI Needs A Ladder remixes has now passed, and its finally time for the plays. Now just so you remember, 20 remixes will be given a shot at the grand prize. 10 chosen by the highest amount of spins, and another 10 chosen by Beatport staff. Here it is, the mysterious track we all have been questioning since we first heard the title. The song, which was included for free when you purchased a ticket to any of Deadmau5' set upcoming events, titled A City In Florida has now reached the net.. and we think you may find it a tad familiar..
Thats right its the Paco di Bango's World remix we have heard on the net! Only, minus the samples from the orignal song. So we have the raw song here, sounds great just like the remix.. minus the vocal bits.

Exclusive to Beatport, this is a fine collaboration between Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner. Again: These 2 artists have often been compared for their similarity, and they produce a track which reflects both of their styles, with really playful solid synths.

We can guess from the lyrics that this song will be called Raise Your Weapon, however this is unconfirmed. It appears to incorporate progressive house and dubstep elements into the song, with vocals from a yet unnamed vocalist. The drums appear to be taken from dub5tepthingie4.
Also, as some new but unconfirmed news, many have said there will be a 4th Mix album before the artist album. The 4th mix album may be in November, while the artist album is in January.
So, the big news has come out on Radio 1. Vernon Kay shortly interviewed him and revealed that he has a cold. That isn't the big news.
What was revealed to be the big news was that Deadmau5 will be linking up with Radio 1 in Glasgow on December 17th.
Also talked about in the interview with Deadmau5 - "I used to work for stock music companies that made stock music for commercials and stuff...I was composer for hire."

In about a couple of months, we should see a collaboration from Wolfgang Gartner and Deadmau5. These 2 artists have often been compared, so it is fitting that we should see a collaboration from both.

As you can never do too much advertising for deadmau5 and his label...Here is a track from Michael Woods (remixer of Strobe and I Said) on mau5trap, which came out today (16th August). Also comes with a remix from label mate Moguai.
So mostly, Deadmau5 has been doing live sets at the moment. This means he's previewed a lot of new stuff, from his time in a studio (in Los Angeles?) making songs. Due to the lack of a lot of mau5 news, here's a roundup of the tracks that probably will / might be in the new album.
