Been awhile since the last update. Not much news since the mau5 has been on tour lately.

The biggest news right now is that that there is a new mau5head in the making for his Unhooked shows (he said this during one of the uStream streams). Pictures and details have yet to be revealed, we'll keep you guys updated, so keep your eyes peeled for more info.

Rukes has uploaded pictures from EDC (and they are absolutely amazing, be sure to check them out!)

So it may seem that deadmau5 might be in DJ Hero 2, judging from some footage and info from the latest DLC release for DJ Hero, which was provided to players as "a snippet of whats to come in DJ Hero 2." Whether a couple tracks of his or him himself as a playable character shows up in the game is pretty much speculation at this point.

He is indeed showing up in the game as a playable character!

Fueling the party will be a host of all-new social multiplayer game modes and innovative freestyle gameplay giving virtual DJ's the ability to crossfade, scratch and sample in over 70 speaker-blowing mashups from the hottest DJ's and Producers around the world, including Deadmau5 – part of dance music's elite – who will be starring as an in-game playable character.

This is also backed up by the photo that was taken by him at Coachella a month or so ago. (click here to view a larger version, then look below the crossfader on the controller.)

We first found this track on deadmau5' soundcloud about a fortnight ago...

It was a bit of a tease, and didn't have the full song, but he first played the song live at sasquatch about a week ago...

And also at Hard Rock in San Diego...

But here is the video of the full song (I presume) at sasquatch...Don't listen if you want to wait for the album.
