This new mix that has been spreading from performance, to performance, is simply fantastic. I can see that it tends to get simplified every time I hear it, but here is an awesome video at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend event! Fans of any genre are practically guaranteed to enjoy this!

Whats Going On?

Hello fellow followers and seekers of that who is known as Deadmau5!

I (DJPixcell), have not been posting much lately! ;O But why you ask?
Exams! I have had tests and soon coming exams starting friday. So I am very very busy studying and.. examing.. :) So I hope that is a good enough excuse to excuse..err.. pardon me.


But that doesn't mean I don't still love my mau5. :) I have some interesting news..
Possible New Album?
I have noticed that several videos on the offical deadmau5 youtube have got some new interesting songs/mixes.

This intro is fantastic! And is apparently the new track "FML", I have no info on this.. and no official information to give you. But what I can tell you is, it is amazing. Any fan of what Deadmau5 has released so far, you are guranteed to love this video. Hopefully all of these new mixes and tracks are leading to a new album, because if you didn't notice about 90% of the tracks on "RAT" were previously released. Hopefully we can get some un-released content in the next album...

I have to say, I am seriously impressed with this track! Its calm, addictive, and a sort of new style for the mau5. Very interesting, and full of still hypnotic beats as usual, but in a more calm way.

Would highly reccomend a listen.

As he knows, and many others, "Music Sounds Better With You" is a song that fits well with this song "Ghosts N Stuff" but because of the lack of lyrics in "MSBWY" it does make it sound a bit repetitive. But it is a very good mash-up none the less, and I enjoy listening to it, I hope you do as well!

Full New Track Released On MySpace

Check out his MySpace now to listen to his new track "Failbait".

Seems to be an experimental track, more similar to his "Get Scrapped" era of music. Which seems to be his less popular. We will have to see how well this track does..

As for me, I am not a big fan of his new track. I was never a big fan of his 'experimental' side of music. It is a very reppetitive song, which you probably are thinking "well duhh..", but I find the most that is repetitive is not something that attracts my taste. Though I'm sure there is people that love the track, I'm just not a fan.

Greatest Hits Album?

I was browsing through Beatport today and I noticed a new album by Deadmau5! I realised almost instantly that all of the tracks had been released before.. plus that it was released on a label that is already known for.. lets say taking its time to release something.

The album is called "It Sounds Like", located HERE on beatport.com. It has 19 tracks, and it has a very similar track list to his essential mix that he made back in July 08'.



While this isn't something to freak out over, it is something worth checking out. It has lots of his best tracks, and for $16.99 on beatport.com for 19 tracks.. thats a good deal. Considering the fact that most tracks cost $2.49 each!
